3 years ago • NotesIt was a great Camp because it pushed people to the limit and was very tiring, but it was great fun at the same time. All the people were really friendly and included me lots. I would love to go to many more camps to do with Carnegie because they are lots of fun and really help people of all different abilities. The Coaches were encourageing and made the camp much more enjoyable and made me see just how lucky I really was having all of them around me helping me improve to the best of my ability. The best part of the Camp was the NBA games. They helped me improve in a game situation and were great fun!

For anyone who is into basketball, I would strongly recommend this to you, Lots of great coaches with experience of both playing and coaching. They all work extremely hard to help you improve your game and to understand the game. I personally enjoyed the camp very much, as I play for Leeds Carnegie under 14 National league Boys. The camp gave me a great chance to improve my game and get some quality reps. As well as hard work the camp is about fun: 1 on 1 with the coaches or other kids, the famous All star game against the coaches, Full court and Half court games,etc. So basically book now! It’s awsome!!!!!!

I thought that camp was good because of the fact that we focused on many different areas such as defence , post moves and beating our man to the basket. I found this good because instead of focusing on just one aspect like shooting this gave us a better feel of the game. I also liked the sets of games which we did after lunch, these were no dribble, 3 dribble max and as many dribbles as we want but we had to have 5 passes first. These were good because it showed that we didn’t need to dribble to get the ball in the net. The best part was probably all-star games at the end, this was when we as players got into groups of 5 and played against the 5 coaches. This was good as it gave us a chance to show the coaches what we had learnt from them. the only part i didn’t like was when i got blocked by Ben Pickles in the all-star games.
