Mid Summer Term 3 day Camp
We have enjoyed another successful camp at Carr Manor High School. Coach Pickles and Coach Allen taught us many new skills to up our game and all campers worked very hard.

It was a great Camp because it pushed people to the limit and was very tiring, but it was great fun at the same time. All the people were really friendly and included me lots. I thought that camp was good because of the fact that we focused on many different areas such as defence , post moves and beating our man to the basket. I found this good because instead of focusing on just one aspect like shooting this gave us a better feel of the game. I also liked the sets of games which we did after lunch, these were no dribble, 3 dribble max and as many dribbles as we want...

Half Term Camp Award Winners
40 players attended the February Half Term Camp and enjoyed learning and improving their sports skills, playing games and competing in mini tournaments. Coaches Paul, Matt, Ben A , Ben P and Scott found it difficult to make the choices for award winners because there were so many worthy candidates.

Leeds Carnegie Junior Basketball Club: Central...
Thanks to all 27 players who attended the first day of the u11 Central Venue League at Carr Manor High School on Saturday 31st January.
Each player was assigned to a team and played four games of 2 x 12 minute halves.

Girls' Basketball Sessions
Important News
We have secured the use of Allerton High School (King Lane, Alwoodley)
as a “sister” venue! Allerton High will be used as a centre for Girls Basketball.
U13s and u14s Girls teams will practice at Allerton High on Tuesday and Thursday.
Home fixtures to be played at Carr Manor on Saturdays.
Younger players are welcome at ANY of the “Mixed sessions”.
